Endologix to sell about 6.1 mln shares at $3.30/shr

June 1 (Reuters) - Endologix Inc. on Thursday said it has agreed to sell about 6.1 million common shares to several institutional investors at $3.30 a share in a direct equity placement.
The company, whose devices treat vascular diseases, said it intends to use the gross proceeds to accelerate its sales force recruitment and expand its marketing efforts in the United States.
The offering is expected to close on June 2, it said
